New Noises

Isaac has started talking more and making more noises. One noise that just cracks me up is one that sounds like a snake......"Ttsssss". And he just cracks up when I make the noise to him. Another noise he makes is a clicking sound with his tongue on the roof of his mouth. I don't know how he learned this or when he learned it, but it's so cute.

And now that he's becoming more and more active, he's becoming more daring. A couple of saturday's ago (September 13th) I woke up to a clicking noise. I didn't hear him crying or talking...just a clicking sound coming from his room. Well, my biggest fear has been the possibility of Isaac falling out of his crib, so when he started scooting around, Dell and I decided that it was time to lower his crib. THANKFULLY we lowered it when we did. When I looked at the monitor, I saw my little Isaac STANDING in his crib. He was so cute when I went in to get him. He was just grinning from ear to ear like he was so proud of himself for doing something new. Unfortunately he hasn't figured out how to get back down. So, if I don't hear him right away, he might start freaking out a little because he can't sit back down. After a nap one day, I went to get him when I heard him crying and he was standing up, facing the wall, with his legs spread out like he was trying to sit down, but hadn't quite made it. Poor little thing. He has also started this trend at daycare. They said that he crawls around and pulls himself up onto the outside of a crib and just rattle the side of it, then looks at them and smiles.

And it was so cute, when I went to pick him up from daycare today, I walked in and he was officially crawling on his hands and knees, no more scooting or pulling with his upper body. He looked so small all curled up like that. I've been so used to seeing him more spread out with his legs behind him. Another day when I walked in the room to pick him up, I didn't see him anywhere (he's usually in the middle of the floor playing or sitting at the six-seated baby table), so I looked in his crib...not there either. So, I looked at his teacher who was sitting at the table grinning, and she told me, "he's hiding". And pointed under the table. He was standing under the table next to where she put away the jumper......just grinning having a great time under there.

Ok, so FINALLY......here are some pictures. This is when I finally started letting him sit up by himself in the tub. Toward the end of August. Such a little angel...

He's so funny......and I think he knows it.
