Wow, this has been a very strange week. I woke up Tuesday morning at about 5am, thinking that it was Saturday and wondering why Dell was already up. I really thought that he might have been going into work for some overtime or something. LOL!! Unfortunately I had to get up and get ready for work and get Isaac ready for daycare (since I sometimes forget to get his bottles ready the night before). Then on Wednesday night I was excited because I THOUGHT it was Thursday night which would have meant that I only had to work half a day on Friday......so sad when I realized my mistake. Maybe I've just been sleeping so soundly and getting all this rest......I don't know, that doesn't make sense either. :-)
Well, now it's REALLY Friday and we have a long weekend of doing NOTHING planned. :-) We thought about going to Oklahoma or possibly even just up to Dallas for a change of scenery (his High School reunion is in OK and my family reunion is in Dallas), but we are going to enjoy sleeping in and getting some extra family time. And keep the money we would have spent on all that gas right in our account. :-) Now THAT is getting out of control!!! Over FOUR DOLLARS / GALLON by Monday!!! INSANE!!!
OHHHH, and AWESOME that when Dell was leaving for work this morning he came back inside to tell me that someone got into his car last night!!!!!! See, all these prices going up and people are going to start stealing stuff to make ends meet. Thankfully he didn't have anything in there. And it was unlocked so thankfully we don't have to pay to get a broken window fixed....been there before. They went trough the glove box and trunk......and left it open. I have no idea WHAT they were looking for but I guess they didn't find it. I'm so glad we locked the truck up, and believe me that from now on I'll be parking that in the garage. It's just so big and barely fits, but I'd rather take the time to park it than fix it......
