He's now sitting up MUCH better than before. When he does wake up in the mornings (sometimes I have to wake him up :-( ...which I hate doing), I will bring him into our room and sit him up in the middle of the bed with pillows around him but not touching him. Well, he just sits there for the longest time and it seems that he even tries harder to stay sitting up if I praise him and clap my hands and say, "YEA! ISAAC!!" His face just lights up at this.
And now......drumroll please......we have TEETH!!! Well, ONE tooth. This was discovered on July 28, 2008. So, now it looks like he's constantly chewing on something......I just think he has more coming in. The funny thing is that about three days earlier (after MONTHS of drooling) I checked his mouth because I thought SURELY there's something going on in there. But there was NOTHING! Then when I picked him up from daycare, she told me that she just saw that he got his first tooth......right there in the front on the bottom. So, I went home to investigate and sure enough, there it was. :-) Well, this was going on right in the middle of his throwing up fiasco, so maybe the tooth coming in had something to do with that. Who knows, it's all a big guessing game for me. And I didn't even think of that until he was feeling better anyway. Since his tooth came in almost two weeks ago, it's starting to really stick out now. And it's just so cute to see it when he smiles and laughs.
