First Half of March

This month has gone by so fast, and I feel like he's changing and growing just as quickly.

He went to his first rodeo on the 5th. And he loved all the lights from the carnival. Since it was a workday, we got there late and left way past his bedtime. His usual bedtime is 8:00pm, and I think we arrived at the rodeo at about 7:30. So, he had fallen asleep on the way there, and I THOUGHT he would probably sleep while we were there. But what was I thinking, he is too nosey and curiousfor that. As soon as we got him out of the car and into the stoller he was WIDE awake. We went to find our seats in the arena for the concert, and the rodeo was still going on. So, he got to see the bull riders (which he didn't really notice because there was a flashing light around the entire arena that kept his attention) and the chuck wagon races. Now, those he watched. It took up more of the arena and wasn't in a little corner that he really couldn't see.

You can see the bright light that he was focused on which circles the arena about halfway up the stadium seating.

Here he is outside staring at a cow.

Here we are on a Sunday afternoon, going for a little walk around the neighborhood. He was so intrigued by the bayou along the walking path. So, eventually we walked down the hill and threw some rocks in the water. Sure brought back some memories of me and my siblings going through a field to a little creek to watch the tadpoles and play in the water / mud.
After the walk they were apparently BOTH exhausted. So cute, I love pictures like this.

After I picked him up for daycare one day, we were waiting on dad to get home from work so we could go for a little walk.

Can you tell that he just LOVES Ritz crackers......

Isaac and I had already been outside (the reason he has the flower in his hand).

Back outside for a little more exercise......he loves being outside. But what child doesn't. By the way, those are SHORTS he has on. LOL!! Maybe he'll grow into them soon.

Not very far into the walk, awww, my little baby got a little tired. He sure did wake up for dinner, though. :-)

At the Olive Garden chowing down on a breadstick.

Random Thoughts......

He had his first "fight" at daycare. I shouldn't think it's funny, but I can't help it. Apparently, a GIRL in his class was playing with a toy he wanted to play with so he scratched her, and she scratched him back, so he pulled her hair. Geez, he just didn't want to give up on that toy. I tried to tell him not to hit girls. :-)

Word he's saying now: Light, Uh-Oh, Picture, Yes, That

He's learned how to turn in a circle and he gets so proud of himself when he starts spinning around by himself......
