Big News

Ok, so I know that SOME of you will understand when I tell you that Isaac has stayed in our room with us since he was born. First he slept in the little Moses basket beside our bed, then when he outgrew that, we got him a little pack and play that we set up as a bassinette next to our bed. Well, we decided over the weekend to put him in his own bed. So, Saturday night he slept in his own room......and it was so hard on ME!!! LOL! It took me so long to fall asleep since I couldn't take my eyes off the monitor (for which I am so grateful to my coworkers... :-))

Here's a clearer one from day TWO......OK, so he didn't stay in there the whole night on the second night, but one night alone was enough for now. LOL!! I'm only thinking of HIM, you know...LOL!

This next one is so funny......I was at a stop light and he was SOOO quiet, so when I turned around to check on him, he was just chillin' out, looking out the window (you can really see me in the top right corner being SUCH a cautious driver here while I turn around to take this picture). By the way, this is one of the coolest things ever invented......I LOVE being able to check on him from the front seat......especially when I happen to be driving. Ok, so sometimes when I pick him up from daycare, he falls right to sleep, other times he just TALKS, and TALKS, and sometimes he really just enjoys the scenery as we drive home (ok, so sometimes he screams his little head off, but I try not to focus on those times...lol). When we first installed the carseat, I must admit that I didn't think to put it in the middle even though NOW I can see that it is MUCH safer for him in the middle than on the sides. ANYWAY, this is my first so I am allowed to be an airhead sometimes. :-) When we first put him in the middle he got a little mad because he couldn't see out as well from there. But I think he has adjusted now and enjoys the middle almost as much as he did in the side seat. He is SOOO precious and I just love him to death......my little angel. :-)

Something else I never thought of was to attach toys to his carseat. LOL!! You can't tell it here, but when we are pushing him around stores (Barnes and Noble for example) he really has a great time. I'll need to get a little video of it next time. But he's squeeling, and laughing and talking......and all I can do is laugh. He was probably disturbing the entire store when we were at Barnes and Noble the other day, but he was happy so that's all that mattered......at least he wasn't screaming crying his head off.
