Where did my LITTLE Isaac go...

All the way up to delilvery, Isaac was my little baby. Even at 8 months pregnant when I put him to bed, I would sit on the couch with him for a little while with him all cuddled up to me. At that stage in my pregnancy I had to adjust the way I held him, though. We used to do this and he would lay on my chest with his legs straight down. Well, obviously with a HUGE stomach I had to move his body to the side. And thinking this was due to the pregnancy, I would be short of breath just sitting there, let alone trying to sing him a little song. LOL! Well, all of a sudden overnight, my little premie isn't so little anymore. I love that he's learning and growing and changing so much, but at the same time I want my little baby back. His facial expressions change almost on a daily basis. And he is talking a LOT more every day. He really has his own personality.

While Oma and Papaw were here, he changed so much over the few weeks they were here. Before they came to visit, Dell started taking Isaac on walks at night to get him ready for bed, so he would sleep all the way through the night. (WOW, there were a few nights where he would wake up in the middle of the night for no reason...) Anyway, once my parnets were here, they would take him for little walks during the moring and sometimes at night. So, now it's the cutest thing when he goes to get his shoes (he puts them on himself now - sometimes on the right feet) then he'll bring me my shoes and drop them in front of me and say "shoe", the he says "side", so I'll say "ok, you wanna go outside?", then he says "waa", so I say, "you wanna go for a walk?" Then he goes through the words again...shoe, side, walk...until he gets his way. :-)

When we got home from the hospital, out of nowhere after he kissed Isabella, he lifted both hands in the air above his head and said, "I did it!" So funny. Now that has carried over to other milestones he does...if he throws something in the trash, etc.
