Visiting Oma and Papa

We got to go visit Oma and Papa last weekend in Oklahoma, and Isaac was SOOO good considering it took us almost 12 hours to get there. We left Houston at about 12:30pm on Friday afternoon and arrived at my parents house at about 11:30pm that night. Wow, what a day. We stopped a couple time between Houston and McKinney, but after we fueled up in McKinney, we didn't stop 'til we were in their driveway. Isaac fell asleep pretty much right on schedule for him at about 8:00pm, and went right to bed when we arrived.

Saturday morning we all had breakfast together......mom, dad, Robert, Angela, Mayson, Joselyn, Meyghan, Jazmyne, Dell, Isaac and myself. It was so good to see everyone, even though it was only a short visit with my brother. :-( Since Saturday night was Valentine's Day, Robert and Angela already had dinner plans with some friends of theirs, so my mom, dad, Dell, Isaac and I all went to Cheddar's for dinner. And my little Isaac was such a HUGE flirt. At one point in the dinner he had his hands straight above his head and was giggling. I thought he was looking at Dell and they were just making faces back and forth. But when I looked over at Dell, I noticed that it wasn't him Isaac was playing with. He was flirting with the three girls standing behind the glass (waiting to be seated). The girls were waving and smiling at him and he LOVED it. I wish now that I had a video of his reaction to them. He was rocking his feet and body back and forth just laughing and smiling at them. It was the cutest thing ever.

Here are some pics of him spending some time with Oma and Papa......He absolutely LOVES hats even though he doesn't wear them much. Papa introduced him to this bear Saturday and he wouldn't leave it alone for the rest of the weekend. So, when Oma was making the bear play music, I'm not sure if she took the hat off the bear or if Isaac did, but this is what I walked up to see. LOL!! If you look close you can see his hair poking out the sides of the hat where the bears ears would go. It was so funny...

Here is a little better shot of the hair poking out the ear holes. (The bear plays music and the little heart on his chest lights up, which is what makes this particular bear so appealing to him.)

When he finds a had and you put it on him, he will usually take it off, then either have you put it back on for him or he'll try and put it back on himself......looks like he didn't want to wait for help. Oh, and those are the roses Dell got me for valentine's day...... :-)

Still trying......

Sunday before we went to visit Dell's family, Papa found one of his hats for Isaac to wear. This was such a cute picture, because Isaac WASN'T looking at the camera until he saw the little red light...he was looking in the mirror with Papa.

And since it was hard for me to get a candid picture of him, here he is posing...
