FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND...finally...LOTS of Pics

OK, so I'm finally posting these from LAST weekend. We all had such a good time visiting my family. Oma and Papa were SOOO excited to see Isaac since our last visit was in February.
Some NEW things he's doing now......
  • He found his feet. Well, he "found" them a couple of months ago, but he's learned how to grab them with his hands now when he's on his back. And he's even learned to put them in his mouth.
  • WOW, is he TEETHING!!! Some days are worse than others with the DROOLING. But he constantly has something in his mouth...usually his pacifier...just chewing away. Sometimes in the car it's the seatbelt strap on his shoulder.
  • He can bang a rattle on his jumper thingy. He just did that yesterday. He had such a serious look on his face as he was pounding the thing, then he looked up and saw me laughing, so he smiled at me then went right back to a serious face as he pounded away again. LOL!
  • He has learned patty cake...well, at least that's what Dell called it. I went into a store for a minute...(ok, so it was Babies R Us and it was a little more than a minute. LOL!) ANYWAY, to calm him down while I was in there, Dell put Isaac's hand in his and made him slap his hand. Then when Dell stopped moving his hand, Isaac would still be hitting Dell's. It was so cute. Hopefully, this won't turn into a HITTING thing. :-)
Alrighty, so here are ALL the pictures, I took SOOO many more, these are the ones that made the cut. :-)
We stopped at Braum's in Denton (or close to it) on the way to Chandler. Isaac is going through the adds with his daddy.

Learning to drive......every child needs a picture like this.
Such a sleepy baby......just ready to be there already......
So, here is my sister's son Wyatt trying to fit into his old Bumbo thing. LOL!! And if you look in the background you'll see Wenoah trying to get Isaac from Oma. LOL! She loves Isaac so much......it's so cute.

My sister and I (along with our hubby's) went to Belk and of course got LOST in the kid section. Then I looked over to find Dell asleep in the corner. LOL! But to his credit, he drove the WHOLE way from Houston to Collinsville. Leaving at 4:30am on Thursday morning and getting to Chandler at 3:30pm and Collinsville at around 7:00pm. So, he deserved a little shut-eye. :-)

After Belk, my mom and dad met us with Isaac (after his nap and feeding). So, we all went to Target for a couple of things and before we knew it my mom, dad, and I were all up at the front of the store paying and Dell was nowhere to be found. I tried his cell phone and it was dead. My dad walked around the store...no luck. So, I went roaming the aisles and for whatever reason happened to spot him. You can't really tell in this picture, but he's at the end of an aisle facing the wall of the store. I didn't even see Isaac when I walked up on him from behind. But look at that face. He sure was having a good time hiding with daddy. LOL!!

Wenoah, Meyghan, and Joselyn holding Isaac.

Starting the cook-out......Mikey, Mayson, Wehoah and Joselyn.

The "KID" table? LOL! Starting with Shane, then Mikey (can't really see here), Mayson, Meyghan, Wyatt, Wehoah, Joselyn, and Jazmyne (can't really see here either).

A different angle.

Wendy wanting to get started......LOL!

Oma putting Isaac to sleep. How cute!!

Ahhh, the "poppers"! No fuse, no punk, no fire...just throw it down and POP!!

Wendy showing off her skills with the black cats!!

Notice the BLOW TORCH in my brother's hand. LOL!! Now, he is SERIOUS about this!

Hmmmmmm, do you think he's ready for NORMAL food yet? LOL!!

On the way home we got to stop by to see Eddie and his wife Rosa, and their sweet little daughter Roselyn. Eddie is Dell's childhood friend. They have such a great friendship, I'm jealous that I'm not closer to even my high school friends......ANYWAY, here is Eddie here with his daughter Roselyn and Isaac - of course - (Eddie and Rosa are expecting their second child in November - who is apparently bashful during ultrasounds. CONGRATS again, guys!)

And here are both of the proud daddy's!!

Does this count as "sitting up"? He was like this for a WHILE!! Way to go, Isaac.

I couldn't resist the hat!! :-) LOL!!
